District Courts cases will begin on Monday and will be completed by May 15, 2021. Circuit Court cases will be completed by Monday.

The disparity between Case Search and court records is due to the mandate in HB1336/SB761 (CH31) of the 2020 regular session. This change will generate inquiries from the public. Justice partners including Public Safety and Motor Vehicles Administration will not remove the charges from their records. Missing charge numbers are deliberate and reflect the charge removal(s) of some of the charges on a case.īe aware that this bill requires JIS to remove the charges from Case Search only. The charges/cases are not “expunged.” Non-qualifying charges will remain in our case management systems, Secure Case Search, MDEC Record Search and MDEC public kiosks. If a case contains non-qualifying charges, those charges will be displayed in Case Search.
